To promote technical exchange and market cooperation between the packaging industries of Taiwan and Japan, the Taiwan Packaging Association (TPA) hosted a three-day "Taiwan-Japan Business Exchange Activity" from February 3 to 5, 2026. For this event, TPA specially invited a youth delegation from the Japan Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Association (JPMA) to Taiwan for a series of inspections and high-level dialogues focused on intelligent manufacturing and global marketing strategies.

Showcasing Taiwan’s Manufacturing Strength through In-Depth Factory Inspections

To provide the Japanese delegation with a profound understanding of the current technical landscape and innovative capabilities of Taiwan’s packaging machinery industry, TPA organized field visits to three representative packaging equipment manufacturers:

• Benison & Co., Ltd.
• Sa Fwu Industry Co., Ltd.
• Jaw Feng Machinery Co., Ltd.

During the visits, the companies demonstrated their latest automation technologies and smart production processes. Representatives from both sides engaged in highly professional discussions regarding current market trends, R&D challenges, and the potential for collaboration in international marketing. The Japanese delegation expressed high recognition and strong resonance with the excellence shown by Taiwanese enterprises in flexible manufacturing and technical development.

Strengthening Bonds and Sharing Industry Visions at the Welcome Dinner

In addition to the professional technical inspections, TPA hosted a grand "Welcome Dinner," inviting the distinguished guests from Japan to join TPA’s long-standing Board of Directors and Supervisors. In a warm and convivial atmosphere, the two parties not only exchanged views on the future blueprint for industrial transformation but also further consolidated the deep friendship that has existed between the two associations for over several decades.

Looking Ahead: Opening a New Chapter in Taiwan-Japan Cooperation

This exchange activity successfully demonstrated the competitiveness of Taiwan's packaging industry and laid a more solid foundation for future technical cooperation and market complementarity.
